Job description:

The Logistics Coordinator, under the supervision of the Logistics Team Leader, will be responsible for:

  • Contacts suppliers and coordinates pick-up operations, based on the loading/shipping plan for each shipment. Issues or coordinates the issue of import-export documentation, together with the logistics Department when necessary.
  • Issues and updates the Shipping Notice to the various parties involved and sends a separate set of shipping documents to the field. Defines and assigns to Forwarding Agents any shipments out of Service Orders.
  • Support and align transport cost and man-hours estimation and reports, monitors budget vs. project execution.
  • Defines methods and means of Transportation in agreement with VMI Delivery Manager
  • The planning and execution of the transportation of ADNOC inventory from ICAD facility to rig site and return. Reporting to the Team Leader and others any delays, quality concerns or safety issues.
  • Actively support the implementation, execution and continuous improvement of the entire VMI operation. Executes and follows up complex Shipping operation/coordination. Local transportation of ADNOC equipment packages

  • Technical diploma or relevant degree/ diploma
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar Logistics role
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Good interpersonal skills, a team player
