Assistant Manager, AR Management

Position Summary

Key Objectives:

The main focus will be managing and undertaking Account Receivable/Credit Management assignments effectively to identify key risks to corporate objectives across East/West Africa region.

Build a Stable business environment by checking AR/Credit status of Customers and Manage to have optimal Hedged Credits from K-sure/Customers establishing in order to prevent AR Risks in advance.

Analyzing reasons of poor AR collection/credit rating performance and potential risks and build improvement measures to enhance business competitiveness and assist to achieve Sales Targets.

Role and Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Managing Account Receivable(AR) of East & West Africa Regions (All Customers)
  • Preparing high quality written reports on AR management (In Korean/English)
  • Conducting a weekly analysis of AR status and Reporting to Korea(HQ)/Africa Regional HQ
  • Building deep relationships and developing network with K-Sure and Africa HQ/Branches
  • Managing Credit Status of East & West Africa Subsidiary and Negotiate Credit Limit with K-Sure
  • Managing K-Sure Credit Status and Verify data (Sales/Credit Usage/Fees/etc) with HQ
  • Managing Bad debt provisions on Troubled AR (East & West Africa Branches)
  • Conduct a quarterly AR Reconciliation with Customers (East & West Africa Branches)
  • Follow-Up On-Going Legal Cases(AR Related Only) with MENA/Africa Legal Team
  • [Risk management] Conduct a training on AR management with Branches
  • [Risk management] Involve in Process Audit with Risk Management Team (HQ/Africa HQ) as a AR specialist and Check AR management process of each Subsidiary.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in AR or Credit management
  • Experience in Financial Accounting and Internal Auditing
  • Knowledge in Commercial Laws will be highly regarded
  • Bachelor degree or Masters in Accounting or Finance (Preferred)
  • CPA/CA or an equivalent qualification will be highly regarded
  • Fluent in English(Mandatory) and Korean(Preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships quickly
  • Excellent skills in Excel and Word
  • Strong belief in values and maintaining integrity
