Finance Manager, Investment Banking – Dubai, UAE
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, reporting, and risk management for our investment banking operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial decision-making to support the firm’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity management, and capital allocation.
Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, investment banking policies, and reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and financial institutions to maintain compliance.
- Manage tax filings, reporting obligations, and financial audits.
Risk Management & Controls:
- Develop and implement financial controls and risk management strategies.
- Assess financial risks related to investment activities and corporate transactions.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to ensure regulatory and internal risk mitigation.
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Support investment decision-making through financial modeling and analysis.
- Drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives within the firm.
- Assist in capital raising, mergers, and acquisitions analysis.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor finance team members to enhance performance.
- Work closely with investment, operations, and compliance teams.
- Support senior management in financial decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in financial management, preferably within investment banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and investment banking principles.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and risk management.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
