We are looking for an Operations Manager who will orchestrate sales operations, business processes, and P&L performance by driving financial discipline, optimizing operational cadence, and ensuring seamless collaboration across sales, finance, and logistics teams to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals.
What you will be driving:
1. P&L Management & Financial Objectives: Enable the sales P&L specifically in forecasting – Rev, GP and outlook for the quarter and year, collaborate with Finance to develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial models aligned with business; track and report on key financial metric, identify risks/opportunities to P&L performance and drive corrective actions.
2. Target Setting & Performance Management: Design and implement data-driven sales targets (quotas, territories, incentives) balancing growth ambitions with operational feasibility, establish KPIs to measure sales productivity (e.g., conversion rates, pipeline health, win/loss analysis), run weekly/monthly performance dashboards highlighting gaps vs. targets and recommending interventions.
3. Business Operations & Cadence: Design and lead the operational cadence (e.g., QBRs, monthly business reviews, forecast calls) to ensure accountability and agility, Implement standardized processes for pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and sales reporting, Optimize sales tools/tech stack (CRM, BI tools) to automate reporting and enhance decision-making.
4. Metrics-Driven Execution: Define and monitor critical business metrics (e.g., revenue growth, sales efficiency, customer acquisition cost), Conduct root-cause analysis on performance deviations and prescribe data-backed solutions, and ensure data integrity across sales systems for reliable reporting.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Logistics/Supply Chain to align sales forecasts with inventory planning, delivery timelines, and last-mile execution, Work with Marketing on lead flow, campaign ROI, and demand generation alignment, and Support Sales Leadership with insights to refine GTM strategy and resource allocation.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- 5–7+ years in sales operations, business operations, or finance operations, with P&L ownership.
- Proven success in designing sales targets, forecasting models, and operational cadences.
- Experience collaborating with logistics/supply chain teams (e.g., order fulfillment, delivery SLAs).
- Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Financial Acumen: Budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and P&L optimization.
- Analytical Rigor: Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Process Optimization: Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Collaborative Leadership: Cross-functional influence without direct authority.
- Communication: Executive-level storytelling with data.
