Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.
- Establish and monitor accounting control procedures.
- Review and correct accounting documents to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and control subsidiary accounting records involving various transactions.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Support budget and forecast activities.
- Develop and maintain financial databases.
- Accurately record and analyze revenues.
- Analyze business operations, revenue trends, and financial commitments.
- Close books at year-end after the annual audit.
- Maintain a structured record-keeping and filing system.
- Identify bottlenecks in accounting processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain ongoing review and reconciliation of customer credit limits and accounts.
- Ensure timely responses to internal payment and invoice queries.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate collection efforts.
- Process approved adjustments, write-offs, and maintain detailed financial records.
- Communicate with customers and insurance departments regarding accounts receivable.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of financial records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
