Application Support Manager (Maximo/Kronos)

Job Description

Job Scope:

  • Supporting the user community which also includes scheduled training on applications to the user community
  • Responsible for configuring / customizing Maximo application as required
  • Responsible for configuring Kronos application as per HR Policies
  • Responsible for application testing and driving UAT sessions for Maximo and Kronos
  • Reviews current status of system applications and prepares recommendations for systems improvements
  • Performs system administration activities, which includes coordinating and managing the installation/patches, and configuration of Kronos devices, software and related application software upgrades
  • To provide Application services in the form of: Assisting End user community at 1st level
  • Ability to manipulate, extract and validate data to create all necessary reports as required. Utilizing of reporting tool: IBM-BIRT Designing & maintaining workflows in line with the delegation of authority
  • Designing & maintaining Start Centers, KPI’s, Dash Boards and Work flows
  • Managing user accounts related to Maximo Kronos application (and the associated security roles)
  • Managing Web Sphere (for Maximo) and JBoss (for Kronos) Application Servers
  • Ensuring that provided data is uploaded to the repository accurately
  • Conducting day-to-day administration in Maximo and Kronos applications
  • Participating and assisting requirements gathering related to Maximo and Kronos applications
  • Supporting a variety of interfaces Maximo-Oracle, Maximo-MSAD, Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), Kronos-Oracle Troubleshoot and fix
  • Responsible for escalation to the technical team for infrastructure or database support/issues
  • Responsible for escalation to the application manager

As an ideal candidate, you will need to have:

Essential:

  • IBM Certified Professional
  • 3 years’ experience
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Strong customer management skills

Desirable:

  • Kronos or Any related payroll management system
  • Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Oracle / SQL Database Administration
  • 3 years’ experience in Maximo in the Leisure Industry
  • Project Management skills
  • Change Management skills
  • Training skills
