Business Analytics is a key component of the WCOO construct. The key objective of Business Analytics is to act as trusted advisors to CMB and GB businesses, leveraging insightful data analysis.
The Business Analytics Manager will be responsible for extracting information from data and translate into business benefits whilst applying best practices in data storage, analytics, governance and information security. 

In this role, you will be:

•    Be an energised, ambitious and high performing change agent 
•    Be responsible for the end to end delivery of a single project (or work stream of a larger project or programme), proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, risks, outcomes and benefits. 
•    Take ownership of critical issues and ensures resolution within agreed timescales and implement mitigating plans against identified risks and issues.  
•    Collaborate and build positive stakeholder and business partner relationships providing regular updates and proactively resolving high priority issues affecting the project.
•    Mobilise the project team and allocates tasks and roles efficiently and effectively
•    Promote and takes accountability for project quality; identifying opportunities to improve delivery and overseeing the governance process to reduce risk and ensure effective and timely decisions are taken
•    Promote a culture of achievement and ensure pace by identifying and removing barriers to project success
•    Promote a positive work culture based on respect for people, integrity of actions, creativity and collaboration leading to increased productivity.
•    Promote the value of challenging the status quo, seeking to improve ways of working and having a forward-thinking mind-set, in line with the Group’s values and strategy
•    Acts as a role model to create and maintain a collaborative team environment which supports and encourages the professionalism and development of our teams


Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

•    Experience in the application of best practices in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Governance and Information Security 
•    Extensive experience working with structured data and relational database tools, theories and techniques
•    Detailed knowledge of at least one of available software tool set (e.g.SQL, SAS, etc.), data management best practices and internal Bank systems. 
•    Experienced on the delivery business change in accordance with existing industry best practices and methodologies. 
•    Strong organisational and planning skills with knowledge on when and how to re-prioritise, or escalate as required
•    Relationship management and influencing skills, with experience of successfully working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments
•    Proven problem solving skills with ability to consider alternative and innovative solutions
•    Display a high level of drive and motivation to ensure successful delivery of complex business change initiatives
•    Knowledge about emerging technology and innovation and how this can be applied to benefit Wholesale
•    Well-developed analytical skills to extract information from data and translate to business language & financial impacts. 
•    Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
