We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our GTRF team within Commercial Banking, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. The job holder must have experience of the China market.

In this role, you will:
•    Be responsible for driving revenue growth through working capital management products and services to maximize commercial profitability and relationship depth with a focus on China market. The candidate is expected to have out of box thinking to identify opportunities and grow business.
•    Retain wallet share from existing clients and increase penetration within the portfolio from group companies and selling additional GTRF products.
•    Develop effective strategies for winning new clients to generate new income for the business. Identify new sales opportunities in the form of new to bank or new to trade clients.
•    The role will work closely with various Senior Bankers in GB, the various global GRBs, Global BDM’s, Product proposition, sustainability leads and other global and local stake holders with an aim to generate additional business by penetrating existing clients and generate new leads.
•    Provide direction in assessing opportunities within the marketplace, keeping the team abreast of latest trends and client requirements, and ensuring suitable solutions are offered within the GTRF product suite.
•    Work with Client Services / implementation teams in a timely fashion to ensure an efficient execution process for complex clients


To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Candidate should be fluent in Mandarin with experience dealing with corporate clients from China
• Knowledge of global trade finance, structured trade products and techniques, market & market trends and  competitive environment
• Strong sales, interpersonal, communications, leadership, negotiation, analytical, presentation and decision making skills
• Working knowledge of Credit & Risk including techniques to mitigate risk
• Good organizational skills with an ability to effectively prioritize and meet critical deadlines
• Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
