Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility):

The Product Manager is responsible for managing the full life-cycle of the CCaaS product portfolio, including managing the partner relationship.

Duties & Responsibilities (by role):

  • Define product vision and strategy, create roadmaps with timelines for development and deployment, identify and assess new opportunities to drive a differentiated, compelling and profitable offering.
  • Create and execute a go-to-market strategy to successfully achieve revenue, profitability and customer success targets for products/service in the CCaaS portfolio.
  • Develop positioning and messaging that resonates with customers, relating product capabilities in terms that they understand, care about, and are willing to pay for.
  • Analyze market segments and customer base to identify and develop new market solutions and create detailed financial analysis, business case and scenario modeling to support the recommended strategy.
  • Responsible for internal training, sales, and development of the portfolio.
  • Perform competitive analysis, define and communicate key advantages.
  • Assess current and emerging technologies and market/industry trends in order to inform platform strategy.
  • Continually refine, align, and maintain the product roadmaps and strategies to the business and technology objectives of the firm.
  • Maintain client-facing documentation and product sites including product overviews, roadmaps, release plans, pricing strategy, support and onboarding.
  • Write and maintain developer community facing technical documentation, postings, FAQs, and other collateral.
  • Provide regular technical, operational, and financial management views of the products.
  • Produce both regular and ad-hoc presentation materials as necessary to support stakeholder alignment, product adoption, and firm-wide awareness of your product space.
  • Represent, plan, facilitate, and drive the products with the local developers, operations, project management, business stakeholders, and any other relevant parties.
  • Work in close collaboration with product peers form other teams to build synergies with different product lines within the company.

Job-Specific Competencies required to successfully perform the job (by vertical grade):

  • Must have over 10 years of product management experience in the CCaaS of CXM space.
  • Proven successful product management experience and exceptional industry knowledge of CCaaS and CXM, including network, ACD/IVR, dialer, omnichannel, self-serve, analytics, workforce management, automation, AI and CRM.
  • Familiar in product development life cycle (relevant experience in all phases)
  • A customer first mentality with the ability to engage with customers and partners, understand their business challenges and represent their challenges back to the appropriate teams.
  • Strong technical background with capabilities to hold useful technical conversations around CCaaS and CXM and the ability to build trust with key technology partners.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of key financial performance drivers, sales/marketing strategy, customer experience, and value chain sales.
  • Strong presenter, able to hold credibly discussions with execs, customers, sales & partners.
  • Ability to write and structure sales proposals and technical documentation fluently in English.
  • Must be able to articulate product requirements per the audience (high level to deep low level technical).
  • Good leadership skills; self-motivated; team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Product Management, Project Management, Marketing, Business, Technical, Telecommunication or Management certifications and/or professional designations, are an asset.
