Consumer Offers Manager
Position Summary
This position is responsible for developing and overseeing consumer offers around affordability (trade-in, financing, residual value-centric propositions) across the MENA region. This role will be critical in supporting Samsung’s sell-out platform strategy, to deliver relevant and innovative consumer propositions across the Mobile portfolio. The role is a newly created function that will work directly with internal management, local sales teams, channel partners, trade-in vendors, and financial partners. You will be the internal evangelist of sell-out platforms to successfully deliver programs promptly via lobbying and support of internal stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute new partnerships to enhance Sell Out Platforms for Samsung
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to identify key performance indicators
- Analysis of market trends, marketing, and promotional activities for competition to support our plans
- Work with sales and product teams to discover and deploy affordability solutions
- Identify opportunities to resell refurbished devices across MENA
- Design programs and initiatives to drive attach rate
- Establish connections with banks and NBFIs
- Evaluate and implement residual-value-based propositions, inclusive of refurbishment offerings
- Influence key stakeholders across the organization to drive business objectives
- Responding to ad-hoc requests from the MENA & Suwon Office & communicate effectively with local stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
- Requires 8+ years of working experience related to consumer finance proposition development role, and a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years
- Proficiency to read, understand and optimize P&Ls and price builds
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate sales data into actionable insights
- Data visualization — Capable of assessing, analysing, and presenting data, trends, and sales potential/challenges
- Experience in the MENA region including Turkiye & Israel with Trade-In partners, and affordability programs
- Capable of analyzing promotional effectiveness & impact on sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Internally and Externally)
- Understanding smartphone lifecycle management is considered a plus for the role
- Knowledge of payment schemes, banking, and experience in affordability solutions
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI is a plus
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving and attention to detail and accuracy
- Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently
