Contract Administrator
Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will support our Senior Commercial Manager in the post-contract administration of a major infrastructure programme in Abu Dhabi.
The responsibilities of this role will be broad and may vary throughout its duration. Specific examples of the responsibilities are provided below.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Review, approve, log, and monitor the compliance of bonds, warranties, and insurances.
- Draft contractual correspondence.
- Draft Engineer’s recommendations/determinations of Contractor’s Claims.
- Prepare and submit Applications for Payment under the Consultancy Agreement.
- Supervise independent cost consultants (sub-consultants), including review and approval of their assessments (variation/payment/cost reports) before submission to Contractor / Client).
- Review and determination of contractual entitlements.
Chair meetings and record minutes.
- Advise on value engineering.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or other relevant construction-related field (with relevant commercial / contracts work experience).
- As a minimum, candidates must have 10 years of experience working in commercial and contracts discipline, most recently at a level of Senior QS or higher.
- You will be a team player, and able to work independently.
- You will bring an ability to think pragmatically and solve problems
- You will be contractually and commercially astute
- You will have experience administering the FIDIC suite of Contracts.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring / Experience You Will Have:
- Experience working for both Contractor and Consultant Organizations (Construction Supervision).
Experience working on major infrastructure projects
- Experience in administering FIDIC form of contracts, including construct only and design and build.
- Experience in Highways, Tunnel, Marine, and Structure Works.
