We are looking for a determined and passionate Engineer Intern to be located in Johannesburg Office
Job description
• Acknowledge Customer RFQs.
• Screening of customers/prospects Customer support by promptly responding enquiries.
• Follow up on quotes, and or any outstanding information from the customer.
• Customer support by promptly responding to the various status of quotes & orders.
• Receive customer orders & verification against the offer / Quote.
• Handover of Orders to the order handlers Communicate with colleagues, business unit experts / Product centers for technical support.
• Work with existing relations or in projects and in what is generated via field sales.
• Jointly with sales be part of the projects making visits, meetings, and interactions with customers,
• Support sales with product presentations to offer a customized value proposition to the customer.
• Develop to be a product champion in a product launch campaign or in product campaigns and drives.
Competencies, experience, and attitudes to do the job:
Fair application and process knowledge of Mechanical equipment. – Good skills to work with IT tools, e.g., Office 365 – Good team player – Strong communication & networking skills. Fluent in speaking English.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
