Digital Marketing Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers. Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Facebook etc.) Launch optimized online adverts through Google AdWords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness. Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels.
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website.
  • Collaborate with designers to improve user experience.
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends etc.)
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up to date.
  • Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors. Digital Marketing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of digital marketing channels, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and affiliate marketing. Familiarity with marketing automation tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other data analytics platforms to track and measure campaign performance. Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to optimize campaigns.
  • SEO Skills: Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO techniques, and the ability to improve organic search rankings.
  • Paid Advertising Skills: Experience with setting up and managing PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and social media advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads). Understanding of budget management, bidding strategies, and ad targeting.
  • Content Marketing: Content creation and editing skills, including writing compelling and SEO-friendly content, creating visuals, and understanding content marketing strategies.
  • Social Media Management: Proficiency in managing and growing social media accounts for brands. Knowledge of social media advertising, audience targeting, and analytics.
  • Email Marketing: Experience in creating and managing email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, A/B testing, and email automation.
  • Copywriting and Creativity: Strong copywriting skills for creating persuasive and engaging marketing content. Creative thinking to develop innovative marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex marketing concepts to team members and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma level in marketing or similar.
  • At least a year’s work experience in digital marketing
  • Experience of managing and writing content for a website CMS.
  • Google Analytics and SEO experience.
  • Experience of managing social media campaigns.
  • Experience of email, AdWords and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage,   inform, and motivate.
  • Certifications from organizations like Google (Google Ads, Analytics), HubSpot, or other relevant industry certifications.
