Responsibilities
- Directly supervise staff in carrying out work schedules as well as spot checking to verify quality and employee performance.
- Ensures timely and accurate sub meter, chemical treatment and engine room logs.
- Ensures that all meter readings on heat, light and power are taken on a daily basis and reviewed for consumption.
- Assists in compiling a monthly consumption report on heat, light and power to include electricity, gas, steam and water.
- Sets-up fire life safety system, valve locations and other emergency procedures that involves the department.
- Manages the Engineering Department of the Hotel’s operation.
- Ensures effective communication and good relations between the maintenance department and other departments in the Residence Club.
Qualifications
- Previous 3 – 5 years’ experience within 5* luxury resort/hotel in a similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of all jobs in the Engineering area.
- Qualification in Technical Engineering
