JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose
The key responsibilities include :
- Day to day business activities: market watch, communication and publications, research on bonds and issuers
- Contribution to the recommended lists of securities, should it be monitoring, idea generation, exit…
- Contribution to the overall investment strategy for the asset class, under the supervision of the FI Strategist
- Provide support to the head of fixed income strategy on any particular need as well as being his backup when not at the office
Main Tasks
- Investment cases on market, issuers, securities
- Maintenance of lists and model portfolios
- Market monitoring, trade ideas
- Communication with internal stakeholders, both formally (publications, regular meetings) and informally
- Adhoc advices for clients’ specific needs
- Client meetings
- Operational backup
- Contribution to the overall team work, including developing dashboards, tools…
- Day to day publications and reporting’s
- Other adhoc projects
Description of Knowledge / Skill etc.
- MBA in Finance or Bachelors degree
- CFA (Partly or full qualification) or equivalent financial services qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Financial Markets / services
- Usage of Bloomberg and associated tools including Bloomberg Query Language
- Teamwork and ability to cooperate with various internal and external counterparts
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, creativity
- Discipline, ability to think “process” and realistically
- Interest in multi-tasking, openness to sometimes boring problem solving
- Absolute integrity
