Job Description

  • Overseeing Duty Managers, Reception and Concierge teams leading them to perform through engagement and training.
  • Focus on arrival and departure experience for guests.
  • Working on strategies to achieve key performance indicators such as upselling, loyalty enrolments, guest experience arrival and departure scores, Ambassador engagement and financial targets.
  • Working with all hotel departments to ensure seamless experience for guests from arrival to departure.
  • Management of the hotel Front Office operation to achieve a reputation as a market leader in individualised customer focused service in the hotel locality.
  • To interview and select job applicants for Front Office; train, coach and supervise front desk, telephones, Assistant Managers and night audit staff in the performance of their duties; conduct performance appraisals and discipline employees.
  • Run and actively participate in regular departmental meetings across all areas, respecting the confidentiality of issues which may be discussed formally or informally.
  • Effectively supervise the Front Desk and Guest services teams in the handling all guest arrivals and departures ensuring that room allocations and check in/check out processes follow set procedures and are customer focused.
  • Be an ambassador of intuitive and insightful service.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience within a leadership role in Front Office within a luxury hotel.
  • Impeccable communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
