About the team

We are looking for a Sales leader to join our regional commercial team, based in the UAE, overseeing all markets. This individual will lead the entire Sales function for Careem Food and will be responsible for structuring this Sales organization, building a world class team, putting in place best practices and driving results at speed.

What you’ll do

Our Head of Sales will be the central point of contact across all our markets and must be comfortable with ambiguously defined problems, challenges, and be able to balance thinking with tactical, detailed execution. This person will manage multiple sales teams across Food for all our markets and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Head the Sales team and manage current and future team members across all markets
Build GTM strategy and plan to drive required business needs and optimize team performance
Design, build and develop a scalable Sales org structure across markets
Lead generation
Develop and implement best systems & practices for managing and driving sales teams.
Identify the optimal teams structure to ensure maximum utilization and leads conversion
Define and implement the agreed sales plan.
Strong people manager who can set vision, goals and manage team results
Own and lead critical customer relationships and sales opportunities.
Deliver revenue against pre-defined targets and objectives.
Build and maintain ongoing communications with the regional resources, such as marketing, sales management, technical support etc to ensure a transparent and co-ordinated approach in the region.
Provide a regular reporting to ensure other team members, as well as operations and corporate support, are fully informed of the latest actions and information.
Travel on a regular basis and with limited supervision to different markets
Establish and maintain the professional business relationship with our targeted customers and partners.
Educate customers and prospects on our propositions and services
What you’ll need

7+ years Experience in sales and business development ideally from a relevant industry
Passionate, driven sales professional with a proven track record
University Degree/ Bachelor Degree from a reputable university
Superior oral/written communication & listening skills
Ability to solve problems and act quickly
Strong leadership skills
Salesforce Expertise
