HR Coordinator at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa
We are a people powered business. So, we’re looking for a HR Coordinator who will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support within the HR Department by coordinating various HR activities & evens together with handling of HR correspondence
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:
- Receives and processes tickets requests for leave; coordinates with employees, raising of LPO and tickets for leavers etc.
- In charge of entering all order requests on the FBM system and processing of invoices
- Ensures that the Headcount and Starters and Leavers books are up to date.
- Performs all tasks as may be assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
- Meeting colleagues requirements and needs in term of salary certificates letters, exit clearance forms, and end of service certificates etc.
- Preparation of no objection letters for employees that are to be released by the hotel.
- Coordinate various reward programs. Organizes and follows up on Recognition Programmes.
- Answers general employee questions about HR processes and procedures.
- Ensures administration part of the Human Resources Department is carried out in a timely and efficient way, according to UAE laws, InterContinental Hotels Group and hotel policies & procedures.
- Prepares drafts, memos and employee forms to be signed by the Director of Human Resources.
- Processes reports and inputs data utilizing HR and Payroll systems.
- Preparation of the employee contracts in a timely manner.
- Prepares and submits reports periodically as requested by the Director of Human Resources.
- Maintains the trust between HR and Finance by following-up with Finance all the memoranda and ensures the accuracy of the financial and database concerns.
What We need from you:
- Bachelors degree / higher education qualification.
- 2-3 years of prior experience in in a five star environment in the same role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must speak fluent English
- Other languages may be preferred
