The key purpose of the Last Mile Manager role is to be the owner of end-to-end fulfillment cycle with high level of customer satisfaction and associated processes and procedures. The role identifies ongoing productivity enhancement in the overall online fulfillment process, maintaining a clear and scalable last mile strategy to support the growth of MAFL.

  • Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
  • Build the last mile operating function to ensure best customer service and cost effectiveness
  • Optimize the last mile delivery routes ensuring SLAs and cost budgets are met
  • Manage the last Mile function and team across countries ensuring seamless operation.
  • Develop and implement the growth plan for last mile delivery services in line with MAFL Digital strategy
  • Work closely with the digital Delivery team on systems enhancement and innovation (OMS)
  • Develop and maintain KPI to assess departmental and individual performance as a monthly cycle wherein improvements are identified and implemented.
  • Manage the last mile delivery budget, monitor performance and initiate corrective action where necessary
  • Ensure efficiencies in order fulfillment to avoid delays and minimize lost sale opportunities.
  • Review and analyze work processes to identify process improvement areas.
  • Develop Cost Matrix to achieve a robust, justifiable, and effective model for last mile.
  • Manage packaging costs and identify cost effectiveness opportunities
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external customers, while identifying last mile delivery opportunities that benefit both the customer and business.
  • Be a point of contact for all inquiries related to order management activities while maintaining a cost/service mindset and ensuring effective communication.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Marketing or E-Commerce
  • Experience

  • 9+ years of experience in last mile delivery
  • Experience in Supply Chain is an advantage
