Manager Brand & Marketing Communications – Consumer (UAE National only)

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop communication strategy per segment
  • Develop, execute and monitor marketing communications campaigns per segment
  • Design ATL campaigns for new products and services
  • Plan and manage budget for all marketing communication initiatives based on requirements from Segments (budget ownership sits with Segments)
  • Manage media and creative agencies
  • Ensure communication initiatives are in line with overall marketing communications strategy
  • Monitor and report marketing communication campaign effectiveness (e.g. reach, costs)
  • Performance digital marketing alignment with digital channel.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or a related discipline

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 – 15 years of experience in a marketing communications and advertisement/related role, ideally within the telecommunications industry
  • 5+ years of managerial experience

Skills:

  • Fluency in both English and Arabic – written and spoken
  • Excellent project management and delivery skills
  • Strong presentation skills with effective time-management
  • Thorough understanding of the UAE culture and market
  • Strong understanding of target segment media habits
  • Excellent analytical, planning & risk management skills
  • Work well in cross-functional team environment
  • Understands needs and diversity of organisation
  • Demonstrable flexibility in approach and attitude; with an ability to adapt to change & effectively manage & communicate change to people while driving business target-achievement
  • Innate quality of wanting to making a personal difference and add value to the organisation
  • Strong Orientation for communicating for impact in a timely manner, demonstrating foresight, forethought, planning for operational efficiency & effectively managing & identifying potential risks to business
  • Strong demonstrable organizational commitment
