Manager – Analytics (Digital)
Role Purpose:
Manager, Analytics is responsible for partnering with business and operations teams globally to draw valuable insights from data to enable KPIs improvements and drive business growth.
Support in driving analytics strategy and optimizations to directly/indirectly impact critical business KPIs.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
As a Manager, Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives within our retail business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilizing your analytical skills to identify trends, create insights, and recommend actions that will contribute to the company’s growth and profitability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, gather and analyze data, and provide actionable insights to improve processes, products, and customer experiences
Scope
- Measurement: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business strategies and initiatives
- Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical analyses on large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Data Visualization: Create meaningful and insightful data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or data visualization libraries in Python or R.
- Advanced Analytics: Develop and apply advanced analytical techniques provide solutions for critical business areas to drive growth and customer experience.
- Data Interpretation: Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for decision-makers and communicate results effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with data governance standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists, to define project objectives and develop data-driven solutions.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts and contribute to the development of data analytics capabilities within the organization.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data analysis, statistical techniques, and data tools to apply best practices.

Minimum Qualifications/education
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or any other relevant field
- MBA or other advanced degrees or certifications preferred
Minimum experience
- 6+ years of experience in data/analytics related field
Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Proficient in coding languages like SQL, Python
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience working in BiqQuery or AWS
- Exposure to statistics, predictive modeling
- Ability to understand business problem and translate into analytical solutions
- Strong communication,Presentation and story telling skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced start-up environment
- Proactive & execution focused approach with high ownership & accountability
- Understanding of E-commerce and Retail businesses
