Manager – Data Analytics

Role Purpose:

The Senior ML Engineer is responsible for or the development of AI solutions to support the business on

driving insights from analytics in an automated and self learning way.

Own engineering responsibilities of different AI solutions such as but not limited too Classification

models, forecasting models, Image recognition, Natural language processing, etc

The role holder is to independently manage and influence 3+ Senior stakeholders & Analytics Leads

across carrefour towards unified vision to drive an impactful data culture

Support analytics leads in driving analytics strategy and optimizations to directly/indirectly impact critical

business

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Scope

• Create the pipelines to integrate predictions natively into different marketing platforms such as but

not limited to: Google Analytics , Braze CRM ,Facebook

• Develop data processing frameworks and libraries to ensure that data feed into any ML solution is

of the highest quality

• Develop an alerting system to ensure that any model is not performing poorly for an extended

period of time.

• Review all code of their junior team members that are related to their projects

• Be able to present how the solution that was built is helping the business to both technical and non-

technical stakeholders.

• Build the MLOps pipelines using different cloud or on prem technologies

• Manage all code pull requests to their assigned projects and maintain documentation and repo

quality to the highest possible standard.

• Ensure the solutions are fault tolerant and can be restarted without human intervention

• Develop and maintain the performance metrics of the models they are responsible for.

• Build ML pipelines that can be moved from batch to real time predictions.

Communication

• Ensure communication with Managers and Snr. Managers, committees, consultants and various

stakeholder to recommend and strategies, and share innovative ideas on a regular basis

Human Capital Responsibilities

• Help managers guide the career growth of their team members by mentoring and performing

assessments with the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
