We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Commercial Banking within the Lending & Transaction Management team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:
• Lead activities that help the business grow through setting appropriate sector appetite, reviewing large deals and acting as a contact point for front line teams to provide advisory guidance.
• Proactively manage the credit portfolio by contributing to the process of tracking names we are worried about, using available data and analytical tools to help identify potential issues.
• Review portfolio information to spot opportunities allowing us to increase business and use the bank’s capital more efficiently, taking a lead on delivering them.
• Contribute to good product management by leading in specific activities for new product developments and ongoing reviews.
• Support the Regional Head of CMB Portfolio Management with ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Have a strong knowledge of how corporate banking works in practice
• Tenacious with numbers – aptitude for analysing and interpreting data
