Job Description
AECOM is offering an opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our exciting team in either Abu Dhabi or Dubai working directly with the regional Communications Manager. This role is ideal for a candidate with a background and interest in marketing and communications to help produce materials and manage systems that support business growth and employee engagement. Please find general duties and responsibilities below:
- Write and adapt copy in the appropriate style for all audiences including internal, media and clients and for different media including print, digital and social media.
- Learn and demonstrate an ongoing understanding of AECOM’s brand, technical capabilities, services, audiences and channels.
- Monitor and report on communications activities and marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop.
- Use content management systems to keep the regional pages of AECOM’s intranet and internet up to date.
- Administrate Viva Engage (internal social media network) to keep group memberships up to date and encourage its use.
- Demonstrate the ability to research around a subject.
- Prioritize a busy workload and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Work with other members of the Strategy & Growth team, including the graphic design studio, to produce timely and consistent marketing communications materials.
- Successfully apply creative thinking and clear communication principals to all communications to improve tone, clarity, style, grammar, and terminology; and align with AECOM’s brand voice.
Qualifications
Essential requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or Public Relations.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a current marketing and communications role.
- Fluent in English with exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Portfolio available if invited to interview.
Preferred requirements
- Previous role within a global organisation in a professional services environment would be advantageous.
