MEA Delivery Manager

Job Description

Ecostruxure IT Services Delivery Managers are ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects and services. They act as a bridge between the technical and business sides of projects, overseeing the entire delivery lifecycle from planning and initiation to execution and delivery. A Delivery Manager ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. Their expertise and leadership are essential for ensuring the delivery of high-quality and impactful IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

Project Planning and Management:

  • Develop and manage project timelines, and budgets
  • Break down projects into manageable phases and tasks
  • Identify potential risks or roadblocks
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively

Stakeholder Management and Communication:

  • Maintain communication with stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, issues, and changes
  • Anticipate and address stakeholder concerns or expectations
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders

Risk Management and Issue Resolution:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact project success
  • Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues or roadblocks
  • Proactively manage and resolve project issues promptly and efficiently
  • Document lessons learned from issues to inform future projects

Quality Assurance and Verification:

  • Establish and implement quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify and address any quality defects or issues before deployment

Change Management and Adaptability:

  • Manage and control changes to project scope, requirements, or timelines
  • Assess the impact of changes and ensure they align with project objectives, timelines and budget
  • Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and obtain necessary buy in
  • Adapt to changing requirements and market conditions while maintaining project integrity

Vendor Management and Collaboration:

  • Manage external vendors and contractors involved in the project
  • Establish clear expectations and guidelines for vendor engagement
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies
  • Foster effective collaboration and communication with vendors

Post-Implementation Support and Monitoring:

  • Ensure the smooth transition of projects into production
  • Gather and analyze project delivery learnings to improve future deliverables

Key Competencies

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organization, and execution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively
  • Proactive approach to managing risks and identifying potential issues
