Job Description
Key responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop and manage project timelines, and budgets
- Break down projects into manageable phases and tasks
- Identify potential risks or roadblocks
- Manage and allocate resources effectively
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
- Maintain communication with stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members
- Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, issues, and changes
- Anticipate and address stakeholder concerns or expectations
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders
Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact project success
- Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues or roadblocks
- Proactively manage and resolve project issues promptly and efficiently
- Document lessons learned from issues to inform future projects
Quality Assurance and Verification:
- Establish and implement quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and address any quality defects or issues before deployment
Change Management and Adaptability:
- Manage and control changes to project scope, requirements, or timelines
- Assess the impact of changes and ensure they align with project objectives, timelines and budget
- Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and obtain necessary buy in
- Adapt to changing requirements and market conditions while maintaining project integrity
Vendor Management and Collaboration:
- Manage external vendors and contractors involved in the project
- Establish clear expectations and guidelines for vendor engagement
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies
- Foster effective collaboration and communication with vendors
Post-Implementation Support and Monitoring:
- Ensure the smooth transition of projects into production
- Gather and analyze project delivery learnings to improve future deliverables
Key Competencies
- Strong project management skills, including planning, organization, and execution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively
- Proactive approach to managing risks and identifying potential issues
