About the job

The Medical Operation, Governance and Excellence Manager is the Backbone of medical affair, as it ensure the compliance, tracking the performance and Operational execution of Medical Plans. This role ensure the maintenance of a dynamic medical affairs, monitoring the quality of deliverables and ensure the clarity on the processes to follow.

Medical Governance Responsibilities:

  • The implementation and maintenance of processes and solutions within Medical Affairs expert profiles/selection and expert engagement tracking, customer databases and CRM systems and their interfaces
  • Maintain and optimize the harmonized usage of a Medical CRM system (OneCRM).
  • Lead the collection and align input from TAs on their needs, document the respective business processes and business rules, manage system change requests and lead User Acceptance Tests.
  • Integration and maintenance of e-learning for the CRM system(OneCRM).
  • Maintain and optimize l training concepts for customer-facing functions in Medical Affairs such.
  • Provide Cross TA support to Medical Education.
  • Continuously review Medical Affairs audit findings and identify potential processes and solutions for globalization, harmonization, and improvement.
  • Ensuring that best practices in Medicine are shared regionally with the objective of continuous improvement and towards the most cost effective and efficient solutions.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with Finance, Contracts & Outsourcing, Compliance, legal and quality.
  • Assesses and regularly manages risks and works to implement and monitor mitigation strategies with project leads, and appropriately escalate items to leadership should a deliverable be running off track.

Medical Excellence Responsibilities:

  • Support the Medical leadership team to drive alignment and coordination of goals, priorities, and efforts for Medical Affairs
  • Establish and maintain a structure for co-creation and co-execution of global medical plans per Global model
  • Develop and support Change management plans and associated communication plans and medical team Effectiveness initiatives in collaboration with training leads and MSL managers
  • Contribute as thought partner to the Medical leadership team around future- looking vision, mission, and strategic initiatives
  • Lead processes for Medical team goal setting and goal management throughout the year including identifying, raising/sharing, and implementing best practices, ensuring consistency in overarching processes and systems, and developing partnerships to ensure ongoing alignment, synergies, and efficiency
  • Further strengthen and develop the Medical team Internal Community
  • Mentors and helps new team members get up to speed on projects/processes/systems, and ensures all team members have access to project information necessary to be successful
  • Ensures all appropriate team member views have been raised and incorporated into team decisions as appropriate

Medical operations Responsibilities:

  • Development of the integrated Medical Strategic and Operating Plan
  • Develop integrated Medical projects / programs budgets plans
  • Provide budget and resource information to Medical team to enable optimal portfolio management and alignment between priorities and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and budget management on top of Financial Management / Tracking for Medical team
  • Develop and maintain projects forecast to provide management with accurate budget spend
  • Ensures that all operational deliverables are achieved on or ahead of schedule, within budget target, and with quality that meets or exceeds the business needs.
  • Designs, recommends & implements new processes, approaches or tools to manage team needs
  • Ensures effective, accurate and timely communication of Medical projects using negotiation, facilitation, meeting management and conflict resolution skills to enhance cross-functional team performance

Maintain Compliance 

  • Abide by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company

Ethical Leadership

  • Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.
  • Escalates any decisions, or seek the support of colleagues or management if personal knowledge and understanding is not at the level required to carry out any part of the role

About you

  • Experience: 5 years of experience in governance, excellence, compliance, SOP, Medical process
  • Soft skills:  communication skills & problem solving
  • Education: Bs. Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or Science
  • Languages: Fluent English & Arabic language is a great Plus
