We are looking for an eMobility solution offer and business development manager to help us accelerate the growth of eMobility in the Gulf market. Location base is our office in Dubai, UAE. You will report to the Gulf Offer Marketing Director.

The person we are looking for is a pioneer within Schneider Electric. He/she should gain knowledge in the country landscape, searching for new possibilities to drive the profitable growth of Schneider Electric eMobility solutions. As a specialist on complex technical and business matters linked to eMobility charging infrastructure, he/she should be customer focus and have developed the acumen to manage and cultivate customer relations.


As an eMobility solution sales engineer your role is to:

  • Recruit new customers and develop business non addressed by the existing SE network: eMobility dedicated companies (CPO & eMSP), car makers, car leasing companies, delivery companies, start-ups, eMobility installers.
  • Lead the marketing function for the Electric Vehicle charger’s product range that relates to eMobility solutions for residential, commercial, industrial markets in Gulf.
  • Champion and lead the product (offer) lifecycle end-to-end, ensuring new and existing product (offer) success and localization of global offers and marketing campaigns.
  • Identify offer needs, gaps, and opportunities to build strong value propositions.
  • Understand market trends, technology landscape, competitors’ landscape, industry and country specific codes & standards cycles.
  • Responsible for product performance with targets on revenue, cost & margin with main target goal of enabling profitable growth.
  • Develop an effective marketing mix – product, price, place, promotion – to roll out new offers.
  • Follow and pilot the eMobility opportunity pipeline in the cluster.
  • Ensure approvals, project technical requirements and regulation compliance.
  • Provide technical training on eMobility solution to internal and external audience.

Your responsibilities:

  • Owning the EV business in Gulf cluster.
  • Key responsibilities on top line (orders and sales) increase: grow the business per application via focused GTM (direct and indirect).
  • Be the SPOC for eMobility solution in the country and support local front office.
  • Develop an activation plan to create awareness via end users, specifiers, partners, distributors, and contractors.
  • Provide technical support on complex projects.

Required skills:

  • Knowledge and solid understanding of products, services and solutions needed to the eMobility applications.
  • Strong marketing background.
  • Influence, negotiate and close deals.
  • Communication and presentation skills, both towards a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Ability of understanding and interpreting technical descriptions, request for tender.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering.
  • A minimum work experience of 5 years in a similar role or 5 years in front office in a position which request sales and technical competencies.
