Candidates for this position must hold a Ph.D in Computer Science or a related computing major. The successful candidate is expected to teach the following undergraduate courses: Data Structures and Algorithms and Design of Algorithms and Analysis.

American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), Department of Computer Science and Engineering, invites applications for an adjunct faculty position beginning Spring 2025 (mid-december). Candidates for this position must hold a Ph.D in Computer Science or a related computing major. The successful candidate is expected to teach the following undergraduate courses: Data Structures and Algorithms and Design of Algorithms and Analysis.
Required Qualifications:
• Ph. D in Computer Science or a related computing major from an accredited institution of higher education
• Strong record of active engagement in research and scholarship, including recent publications
• University teaching experience
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to excellence in teaching, including the use of high-impact educational practices
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines
• Familiarity with ABET accreditation requirements
