MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To promote and sell the flydubai product in the sales shop whilst ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists customers with information about flydubai flights, schedules, product, terms, and conditions.
- Assists with making new bookings, modifying existing bookings, issuing tickets on flydubai flights as per customer request.
- Collects cash or other forms of payment, creates, and submits daily sales reports to the supervisor and/or manager, and ensures proper banking/reporting to the finance department.
- Updates the ‘OK to board’ message on SPRINT and stamps the visa copy in accordance with government regulations.
- Co-ordinates with agency support, reservation support, group support, airport services and other internal departments as and when required to fulfil customer requests & requirements.
- Provides assistance to passengers impacted by flight disruptions or cancellations by facilitating rebooking.
- Promotes and sells ancillary products provided by flydubai, such as UAE visa, insurance, and rent-a-car services, to customers at the flydubai sales shop, while also driving revenue through the initiation and promotion of the flydubai Holidays product.
- Manages the commercial visa process by validating visa application details submitted by the passengers/agents and processing UAE visa deposit refunds to passengers as per requirements.
- Maximizes sales opportunities by converting inquiries into transactions by offering comprehensive options, thus increasing revenue.
- Manages freelancer and walk-in group requests, overseeing the process from initial inquiry to ticket issuance.
- Completes any additional tasks as assigned, to ensure the efficient functioning of the work unit.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum Education Level
- High School Diploma
Languages
- Fluent in English & Arabic
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Professional Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working for an airline or travel agency in a ticketing role is desirable.
Systems Knowledge (if applicable)
- Knowledge of any GDS like Amadeus/Sabre is desirable but not essential.

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
