Show Technology Support Manager

Job Description
Job Scope

Conduct daily checks of all Show Technology areas and document the observations. Develop a plan for addressing any identified issues, while ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Job plans.
Maintain and improve Preventative Maintenance plans for existing and new rides & attractions
Integration, commissioning, and training of existing and new rides & attractions.
Make recommendations for upgrades and training requirements as needed
Maintain and improve Preventative Maintenance plans for existing and new rides & attractions.
Ensure proper inventory levels for spare parts for all ride & attractions.
Review AVL drawings as required.
Ensure that proper rides & attractions on-the-job training program is followed and updated as necessary.
Utilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) as a tool to improve maintenance
Practices and provide necessary input to improve processes and procedures.
Provide the necessary input for the rides & attractions’ OPEX and CAPEX annually.
Cooperation with Show Technology specialists to constantly improve rides & attractions.
Conducting performance reviews for the team and disciplinary actions within the team.
Support and oversee the duty schedule, and training schedule of the team.
Ensure all Colleagues within the group are properly trained and utilize all safety equipment issued to them by maintaining 100% compliance in order to reduce workplace injuries and accidents.
Oversee facility/attraction installation processes as to ensure the installation meets all the requirements set forth in the contract, specifications and drawings.
Participate in facility/attraction design review processes to communicate operational improvements to designers.
Participate in facilities/attractions refurbishment program by developing scope requirements, budget requirements, schedule, insuring all third party inspections are complete working in conjunction with the HSE department and providing acceptance of the facility/attraction.
Overseeing the park maintenance operations to achieve stated objectives for ride maintenance, ride checks, repairs, costs, guest service satisfaction, park operational cleanliness and sanitation.
Managing the department recruitment process.
Procurement of the CAPEX and Inventory items.
Tracking of the CAPEX & Inventory budgets – forecast and variances.
Implementation of the comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program for the park rides and equipment.
Actively seeking and implementing cost saving programs to provide positive financial results.
Development and implementation of the Technical Services Department processes, policies, and procedures.
Coordinator of the Colleagues training program (internal and external trainings and certifications).
Represent the department in all meetings and functions in the absence of the Show Technology Manager.
Supports the Show Technology Manager in managing the On-Site Show Technology Team.
Other duties as required.
Meet divisional goals and metrics & ensure safety, health, and environmental matters are followed and adhered to.
Assist in vendor selection and approve all designs ahead of project start up.
Conduct appraisals for team members and establish and set their KPI’s.
To be considered for this role you will need:

Electronics, Electrical, IT Engineering background (Theme Park) or Diploma, Degree or Related AVL technical (CTS) qualification.
7+ years’ experience in the audio-visual industry
Hands on installation experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Lua, JavaScript, etc.) Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems preferred.
Knowledge of networking for AV including VLANs, routing, (certification a plus)
Knowledge of Juniper networks and Extreme networks is a plus.
Knowledge of at least one Control System programming environment (Q-SYS Control, Medialon, Alcorn McBride, etc.)
Knowledge of at least one Audio DSP platform (Q-SYS and Media Metrix preferred)
Able to adhere to strict timelines.
Proven ability in day-to-day operational management
Ability to understand one-line drawings and schematics.
Possess a firm knowledge of installation tools and have the ability to use them.
Ability to lift at least 25 kg.
Knowledge of LED lighting and video systems
Created various schedules as required
Experience using maintenance management systems
Experience working at height
