Stores Assistant
Fugro are now recruiting a Workshop/Stores Assistant to join our team in Dubai. Working as part of the workshop team and reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for the receiving and issuing of equipment & tooling for projects and warehouse work.
You will be responsible for the preparation of equipment and consumables to be dispatched to sites/other depots from equipment lists or site requirements and advise any shortages to the Warehouse Coordinator.
You will ensure that records of equipment and consumables are recorded, reporting any damages or missing items of equipment. In addition, you will be required to keep accurate administrative records and undertake general maintenance of the warehouse equipment and facilities. As well as driving motorised pallet stackers within the warehouse, you will also need to package equipment for dispatch if they are required elsewhere.

Working closely with the Workshop Manager, Warehouse Coordinator and Facilities Manager

Taking part in team toolbox talk prior to shift activities.
Carrying out independent or team tasks such as receiving and unloading goods delivered in
Using MS Office to track and record the movement of equipment and consumables.
Taking responsibility for your own Health and Safety and that of others around you
Who we’re looking for:
General computer literacy including Microsoft Office
Strong communication, teamwork, planning and problem-solving skills.
Adaptive to changing context of work tasks.
Ability to work in a safe and risk aware manner.
Experience of working in a similar role
Strong attention to detail
