Strategy Manager

Position Summary

As a Strategy Manager at Nestle, your primary responsibility is to develop and support the strategy and framework for Nestle’s competitive positioning on key eRetailers. This role involves conducting high-quality analysis to inform decision-making and creating frameworks and tools that contribute to the long-term growth of the eCommerce function.

A day in the life of…

  • Responsible for the management and development of the functions KPI infrastructure to facilitate analysis and reporting of performance against plans as well as strategic objectives.
  • Responsible for high quality analysis to define the Ecommerce growth strategy by brand/category/eRetailers
  • ‘Develop tools and frameworks for HQ and Clusters to streamline execution.
  • Leverage on eShopper insights to develop tools and practices to manage online eRetailers, further supporting the deployment of the eCommerce group strategy, driving online category growth.
  • ‘Support in the development of business models for new growth opportunities
  • Co-create tailor made strategies by brand (sizing the opportunity, setting KPIs/fair share, strategic partners, go-to-market approach, etc…) and across Clusters.
  • Define online strategies and coordinate implementation of eRetailer (s) plans in line with business requirements by supporting implementation.

What will make you successful

  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical, strategic, or commercial role (investment banking and/or consulting experience are a strong plus)
  • Advanced Google Sheet/Excel /PowerPoint skills.
  • A good understanding of SQL – preexisting/ expected to learn in 2 months; Ultimately, you’ll be expected to be able to extract the data needed for your analysis.
  • Must have experience in complex financial modeling
  • Can demonstrate strong analytical achievements and confidence with numbers.
  • Clear confident communicator, with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Team player able to work with tact, humility and patience
  • A pragmatic, commercial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong motivation with the ability to work quickly and accurately in tight deadlines
