Warehouse Supervisor.
Zahr Freighters, a leading logistics and freight forwarding company based in Dubai, is looking to hire a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse operations. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient inventory management, smooth workflow, and timely dispatch of goods in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Oversee loading and unloading activities, ensuring safe handling and proper documentation.
- Implement and maintain warehouse procedures in line with company policies and safety regulations.
- Plan and assign daily tasks to warehouse employees, ensuring productivity and performance standards are met.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and security of the warehouse at all times.
- Coordinate with the logistics and procurement teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Train new warehouse staff and provide continuous guidance on proper warehouse practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse supervision experience, preferably in logistics or freight services.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and safety practices.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
